These knowledge enhancing bodies ensure conduction of various hands on trainings and workshops for students and faculty. Institute has very learned faculty, well informed with modern technologic advancements and research in medical field and are committed to keep themselves updated with the best going on internationally. Institute keeps on placing learning targets higher and is pioneer in many aspects that most of institutions in country. Guest lectures from eminent academicians from India and abroad, well planned clinical postings, CMEs, integrated teaching modules and interactive sessions have been incorporated in teaching learning methods. Here, human life and interaction is valued, and fact that a medical graduate has to ultimately deliver his knowledge and services to society. Professionalism, Interpersonal relationship, Communication and Ethics (PICE) workshops are organised regularly to ensure a medical professional who ultimately provides humanitarian services in public domain. In order to instil soft skills, medical humanities in the curriculum was introduced which aims at developing “Art of medicine” in students. Students have brought laurels to institute by getting selected in reputed institutes of India as well as around the world. Academics and Scientific milieu of Institute, inspires students to develop research interests in vast areas with amalgamation of modern, traditional and holistic medicine. A large number of Short Term Student(STS) projects have received extramural grants from ICMR and have successfully completed the projects paving way for future aspirants. Institute provides training to its Post graduate and super specialization students to develop clinical acumen so as to deliver their services in emergent situations as well critical situations of pandemic
