At AIIMS Rishikesh, the AYUSH facilities bring together the classical wisdom of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, and Siddha Medicine to provide holistic, evidence-based care rooted in India’s ancient healing traditions. The Ayurveda unit follows the principles of Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and individualized protocols based on Prakriti (body constitution), offering Panchakarma detoxification, classical formulations, and lifestyle counselling for chronic and lifestyle-related disorders. It provides condition-specific therapies for non-communicable diseases, rehabilitation, stress management, and wellness modules, integrating Yoga into inpatient and outpatient care while promoting natural healing through diet, hydrotherapy, mud therapy, and lifestyle modification.
