The hostels at AIIMS Rishikesh are build to take care of all the daily needs of its students. The hostels have plenty of trees and plants in the gardens and the adjacent areas. There is provision of electricity power backup each room of hostel. The hostels have geysers in all washroom area, water coolers (with ROs) on each floor. The hostel rooms are newly constructed, well ventilated and are furnished with furniture like bed, table, chairs, cupboards and book shelf. For the purpose of entertainment of the students, all the hostels have common rooms with TV and cable connections. There are reading rooms in UG /Nursing hostels, library with more than 250 Hindi/English books in Boys hostel, subscription to Hindi/English newspapers & display on newspaper stands in all common areas of each hostel. To add more, there are reception / waiting rooms for residents & guests in all hostels. There is a nice facility of Annexe guest house for students, residents and guests. The hostel premises are equipped with modern C.C.T.V Camera facility for round the clock monitoring and security. Additionally, there are security personnel available 24 x 7 in all the hostels. There is provision of canteen (24×7) in hostel area. Uninterrupted power supply in common facility areas of the hostels is available. The Maintenance of hostel is done by the dedicated housekeeping staff on regular basis. Milk parlour facility is the recent addition to the residence (campus) area. The administration is working towards making the hostels Wi- Fi enabled. For the students, residents and guests there is dedicated and safe parking facility available. The campus has cycles available free of cost to commute around from hostels to college / hospital.
