  • The M.Ch. Postgraduate (PG) curriculum in Urology shall be competency based.
  • Learning in the postgraduate program shall be essentially autonomous and self-directed.
  • A combination of both formative and summative assessment is vital for the successful completion of the PG program.
  • A modular approach to the course curriculum is essential for achieving a systematic exposure to the various sub specialties concerned with Urology. An integrated teaching module shall be incorporated within the training program.
  • The training of the PG students shall involve learning experience 'derived from' or 'targeted to' the needs of the community. It shall, therefore, be necessary to expose the students to community based activities.
