Vision statement: –
To develop state of art Department of Nephrology, rendering dialysis and renal transplant services.
Mission statement:
Clinical – To develop state of art Regional Dialysis Centre. To develop internationally acclaimed Kidney Transplant Unit.
Research – To begin research and clinical trials in the field of General Nephrology, Dialysis and Renal Transplantation. To make MoU with Indian and foreign universities to excel in the field of research.
Academics – To begin Post- Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) course in Renal Transplantation.To begin PDF course in Interventional Nephrology.

Services Available in the department:
A Outpatients department:
- General OPD: 04 days per week as per schedule.
- Specialty Clinic: as per schedule
- Transplant clinic: as per schedule
B IPD:
- Nephrology ward- 19 beds (Level-4,B1)
- Kidney Transplant Unit- 02 beds
C Hemodialysis:-
- Dedicated 16 bedded MHD centre on PPP mode.
- 07 machine dialysis unit for bedside HD of admitted patients at various ICUs & wards.
D Procedures (Diagnostic and/or Therapeutic) offered by the department:
- Renal Biopsy
- Insertion of temporary & tunneled HD Catheter
- A-V, fistula creation
