Vision

  • To persevere for the correct diagnosis and management of common dermatological, venereal disorders and leprosy.
  • To spread awareness about common skin disorders and treatments.
  • To reduce stigma regarding various treatable skin and venereal disorders, for example, leprosy, vitiligo, HIV, syphilis etc.

Mission

  • Training of post-graduates and non-academic senior residents in the diagnosis and management of common dermatological, venereal disorders and leprosy.
  • To carry on research activities in dermatology, venereology and leprosy.
  • Indulging in patient care and in-patient management of skin disorders and related emergencies.
  • Adopting preventive measures at individual and community levels against communicable skin, venereal diseases and leprosy.
