Message from the President
 | I am honoured and humbled to have been given the opportunity to serve our prestigious institute as a first servant. As an orthopaedic and spinal surgeon over the last fifty years, I have seen patients misery quite closely; therefore, I am passionate about patient care and advancing medical education and research. Under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister as well as the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, AIIMS Rishikesh has already made a niche for itself over the last 13 years, and it shall remain my endeavour, along with the faculty, to achieve newer heights in Medical Education, Innovation, and Community Service. Students of medical and allied sciences arethe ones in whom we will invest so strongly that they become our harbinger of excellence in medical education, research, and patient care. They shall disseminate the virtues and attributes of ethical practices they attained from their Almamater. We will focus on fostering a culture of academics, rigorous research and compassion ultimately benefiting our patients and broader community providing quality and affordable care, which shall remain our priorities. We will strive to deliver compassionate and personalised treatment so that patients feel satisfied and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Our dedicated team of faculty students paramedics, non-faculty staff shall bridge the gap between exceptional care and accessibility making quality health care a reality, which will also help to achieve our vision of global standards in patient care.It shall also guide us to achieve our motto of “Vishav arogya hi dharma”- global health is our religion.
