Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck surgery is a branch that deals with the medical and surgical management of ear, nose and throat ailments including head and neck conditions and cancers. This branch also deals with conditions involving the skull base (tumors, infections and trauma ).
The department of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery came to its existence on 19th March 2013 when Dr. Saurabh Varshney joined as Professor & Head in the department.
The ENT Department strives to offer the most innovative and updated treatment to the patients. Our experts diagnose ENT disorders using the latest methods and technologies.It provides comprehensive care to patients with diseases of the ear, nose, throat and head and neck, the anatomic limits being the dura above and the pleura below.

- Which kinds of disorders are catered to in general OPD Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck surgery provides all services with modern state-of-art equipment. The sophisticated outpatient department houses a Minor OT, endoscopy & microscopy room, VNG room, endoscopy and stroboscopy room and full fledged ENT clinics which caters to about 200 outpatients daily from north indian states of India. The Audiology and Speech unit is equipped to carry out basic comprehensive audiometry, tympanometry, Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA), ASSR, hearing aid trial and provides support for the cochlear implant program.

- Endoscopic Procedures- Bronchoscopy, Oesophagoscopy, Laryngoscopy, GI endoscopy.

- Surgery for snoring and sleep apnea

- Diagnosis and treatment of nasal allergy
- Diagnosis and treatment of vertigo and headache.
- Surgeries offered / assisted for other surgical departments (Neurosurgery/ Plastic Surgery/ CTVS etc.)
- Temporal bone Laboratory- We have fully equipped – 4 stations temporal bone lab for dissection of temporal bone for the training of the residents.

- Voice Clinic
Services will include diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with voice /speech disorders. Speech/language assessments and therapy, dysphagia testing with therapy and augmentative alternate communication therapies for those who cannot speak. - Skull base Clinic
A multidisciplinary team approach to plan and perform surgery for tumors of the skull base. The utilization of innovative approaches will enable the resection of otherwise difficult to approach lesions. - Sleep Clinic/ Lab
A multidisciplinary team approach to investigate, diagnose, plan treatment and perform surgery for obstructive sleep apnea
