Trauma is leading killer in 15-45 year age group. Mortality from Road Traffic Injuries is staggering high: India carries unfortunate distinction of maximum road traffic deaths in world (WHO 2014). Improving Trauma Care is need of hour in our country and teaching & training of doctors in Advanced Trauma Life Support is one way of doing it. Similar teaching & training of nurses in Trauma Care is provided by Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses courses.
AIIMS Rishikesh proudly launches Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses program of American College of Surgeons. Under visionary and dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Director & CEO Prof (Dr.) Arvind Rajvanshi, AIIMS Rishikesh is first of all peripheral AIIMS to start this program.
