| M.Ch Urology | 3 years | 16 | ·Course started in January 2018 ·The M.Ch. Postgraduate (PG) curriculum in Urology shall be competency based Learning in the postgraduate program shall be essentially autonomous and self-directed. A combination of both formative and summative assessment is vital for the successful completion of the PG program. A modular approach to the course curriculum is essential for achieving a systematic exposure to the various sub specialties concerned with Urology. An integrated teaching module shall be incorporated within the training program. ·The training of the PG students shall involve learning experience ‘derived from’ or ‘targeted to’ the needs of the community. It shall, therefore, be necessary to expose the students to community based activities. |
| M.Ch Urology | 6 years | 3 | ·Course started in July 2023 ·Merit based selection (INI-CET, AIIMS New Delhi) after completion of MBBS along with compulsory Internship · During the period of Junior residency training, students rotate through all areas of patient care in General Surgery,Trauma Surgery and Critical Care, CTV Surgery, Emergency Medicine,and Plastic Surgery besides Urology. ·Students would be given graded responsibility and hands on training as per progress judged by continuous formative evaluation. ·After completion of junior residency, they promoted as senior resident and their curriculum will be same as Urology 03 years M.ch Residents. |
| B.Sc. Urology Technology | 3 years | 3 | Course started in July 2020 Students should acquire theoretical knowledge and skills related to the technical aspects of the functioning and maintenance of equipment’s used in the specialty of Urology. Students should be able to provide better assistance for conducting various procedures in the operation theatres and the clinics. |
