Outpatients department:

  • General OPD: Daily in Room No. 031102, 031116 (G23 & G22, C Block)
    • The department provides Medical and Rehabilitation services to persons with:
    • Chronic musculoskeletal pain, Sports injuries
    • Neurological conditions – Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Polio, Myopathy, Neuropathy, Motor Neuron Disease, Parkinsonism and other Movement disorders
    • Paediatric Neurological conditions– Cerebral Palsy (CP), Myopathy
    • Diabetic foot, Amputation
    • Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation
    • Burn Rehabilitation, Cancer Rehabilitation and others
  • Rehabilitation therapy: our Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Multi rehabilitation workers are well trained for providing therapy to our patients. Department is well equipped with all the basic rehabilitation equipment and modality machines like SWD, Ultrasonic, LASER, TENS, Cryotherapy
  • Orthotic & Prosthetic workshop: fabricating various customized braces, callipers and artificial limbs and providing these at a very subsidized rate to the persons with special needs 

In-patients departmentDepartment has indoor services with 6 beds in B1 area, 4TH floor mainly for the management of paraplegic, hemiplegic and quadriplegic patients

Procedures (Diagnostic and/or Therapeutic) offered by the department

  • Special services offered by the department:
    • Interventions for pain management: Doctors at the department are specialized in giving intra-articular and soft tissue injections, nerve blocks either under ultrasound guidance or through blind technique.
    • Advance Robotic Rehabilitation: The Robotic devices with Virtual Reality System and Biofeedback are usedin our department for the recovery and rehabilitation of Quadriplegic, Paraplegic, Hemiplegicpatients even in early phase when they do not have any motor power.
    • Virtual Reality Rehabilitation System: used for upper limb coordination, balance training and cognitive training
    • Gait and Motion Analysis Lab
    • Plantar Pressure Analysis System
    • Prosthetic Modelling, Data Acquisition & Fabrication System
    • we are fabricating various advanced customized braces, calipers and artificial limbs with advance 3D Printing technique and providing these at a very subsidized rate to persons with special needs.
