Vision

To persevere for the correct diagnosis and management of common dermatological, venereal disorders and leprosy.
To spread awareness about common skin disorders and treatments.
To reduce stigma regarding various treatable skin and venereal disorders, for example, leprosy, vitiligo, HIV, syphilis etc.

Mission

Training of post-graduates and non-academic senior residents in the diagnosis and management of common dermatological, venereal disorders and leprosy.
To carry on research activities in dermatology, venereology and leprosy.
Indulging in patient care and in-patient management of skin disorders and related emergencies.
Adopting preventive measures at individual and community levels against communicable skin, venereal diseases and leprosy.
