Services

OPD Diagnostic Services

Department of Biochemistry has functional Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory which is providing diagnostic amenities for patients since the inception of OPD services May 2013, with approximately 100 varied biochemical parameters on various body fluids. This Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory is equipped with Fully Automated Analyzers for Routine and Special Biochemical investigations, Chemiluminescence Immunoassay for Hormones and Vitamins, Electrolyte Analyzers and ABG Analyzers for Water Electrolytes and Acid Base Analysis. This laboratory is supporting diagnostic specialized investigations like CK-MB, CPK- NAC, Lipase, hsCRP, LDH, Vitamin B12, Thyroid profile, extended Diabetes profile, Hormonal profiles for fertility makers, Tumor markers, Bone markers, Cardiac markers, Anemia markers, routinely carried with quality reporting system.

IDP Diagnostic Services

Department of Biochemistry through Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory has been providing diagnostic facilities for IPD round the clock at Central Diagnostic Block I Floor B3 and B6 areas of Hospital Block. Quality Control: To attain quality service of reported Clinical Biochemistry laboratory investigations, we have daily internal QC checks and are also enrolled in External Quality Assessment Scheme (EQAS), run by the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Christian Medical College, Vellore. Results for all EQAS run specimens for enrolled biochemical investigations are certified within reference levels.
