We are in process of expanding our 24×7 bronchoscopy services by procuring 11 Bedside Bronchoscopes and setting up of 04 High Flow Nasal cannula units for our Indoor patients

Services Available in the department:

Outpatients department:
- General OPD / Specialty clinic Schedule- day and consultant wise

In-patient department: Department of Pulmonary Medicine presently has a 30 bedded ward including a 4 bedded Respiratory ICU along with 04 high end mechanical Ventilators to provide medical services to the needy patients. Our ward is equipped with central as well as bedside cylinder-based oxygen supply, on floor ABG machine, Non-invasive ventilation machines and 04 high end mechanical Ventilators supported by able team of doctors and well trained sympathetic nursing staff guided by standard operative protocols. Our indoor is equipped with bedside bronchoscopy for 24×7 bronchoscopy services. A dedicated Ultrasonography machine is present in the ward 24 hours which is utilized for for assessment of pleural effusions, invasive bedside procedures like thoracentesis, pigtail insertions, transcutaneous FNA and biopsy procedures, pulmonary and cardiac evaluation in ICU patients for, IVC assessment for fluid resuscitation, guided central line placement and so forth.

- Currently the department runs 3 labs
- Full-fledged state of art Pulmonary function lab offering spirometry, diffusion, body box plethysmography and cardio-pulmonary exercise testing.
- Interventional Pulmonology lab providing Basic and advanced bronchoscopy procedures, endobronchial USG (EBUS) and semi rigid Thoracoscopy, argon plasma therapy, electrocautery, and Rigid bronchoscopy for both therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Cryotherapy for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures has also been started
- Thoracic Ultrasonography-diagnostic & guided procedures
- Sleep lab for diagnosis and management of sleep related breathing disorders.
- Respiratory rehabilitation therapy
- DOTS centre in OPD complex
